Why it is prescribed
(Indications) : It is a Non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug used in the treatment of Osteoarthritis and Dysmenorrhoea.

When it is to be taken : It is generally taken 2 times a day for the duration of the treatment.

How it should be taken : It is available as capsules and is taken orally.

Special Instruction :
1.The dose is to be reduced in mild to moderate hepatic impaitment.
2.To be used with caution in patients with gastro-intestinal bleeding,renal insufficiency and hypertension.
3.Hemoglobin levels must be checked regularly for anemia.
4.The doctor must be informed if other drugs are being taken eg:Lithium salts may pose a potential hazard.

Side Effects :
Abdominal pain,rash,diarrhoea,headache,insomnia,dizziness,edema.

Other Precautions :
Contraindicated in
1.Hypersensitivity
2.Problems related to usage of aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs
3.Severe hepatic impairment or renal disease
4.Peptic ulcer
5.Pregnancy and lactation

Storage Conditions
:
To be stored in air-tight container.
